In the Chui region, police detained two young men who were involved in a knife fight.
According to information from the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, the incident occurred on February 14, 2026, around 00:30. Three men, being in a state of intoxication, arrived from Bishkek to the village of Petrovka. On Frunze Street, they encountered a citizen named A.E. and his friends. As a result of a verbal dispute, a physical altercation ensued. One of the participants, T.M., inflicted a stab wound on A.E., after which the suspects fled the scene in a Honda car.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 280, concerning hooliganism.
The detainees — T.M. and T.J., both born in 2003, have been placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, forensic examinations and investigative actions are being conducted to clarify all the details of the incident.
