Their detention is related to the arrests of directors of private driving schools
In Bishkek, employees of the city department of the State Center for Vehicle Registration have been detained. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
Previously, law enforcement agencies arrested the directors of private driving schools B.T. and M.A., who are suspected of organizing fictitious training for trainees. According to the investigation, they received between 40,000 and 120,000 soms through intermediary I.T. A total of 244 students were enrolled in driving schools through one intermediary, which led to the illegal acquisition of more than 2.7 million soms.
As part of the criminal case initiated under Article 379 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, three individuals were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the further investigation, it was established that these individuals were also involved in the illegal registration of vehicles imported into the country based on forged documents. These actions were carried out through the State Center for Vehicle Registration, where center employees ensured the fictitious entry of information into registration databases and vehicle accounting, using counterfeit certificates and registration documents.
The investigation confirms the involvement of employees of the Bishkek city department of the State Center for Vehicle Registration: chief specialist S.D. and specialists K.U. and U.A., born in 1997.
All detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
