The investigation concerns the forgery of certificates of completion from driving schools. The investigation established that the directors of private driving schools B. T. and M. A., through intermediary I. T., illegally received amounts ranging from 40,000 to 120,000 soms for fictitious training. They registered citizens on the government portal and issued fake documents without actual training. As a result, through one intermediary, 244 students were enrolled, bringing in 2,760,850 soms.
During the investigation, the police discovered that this criminal group, led by the intermediary, was also engaged in the illegal registration of vehicles based on forged documents obtained from neighboring countries. According to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, they were assisted by employees of "Unaa," who ensured the fictitious entry of data into databases and the registration of vehicles using fake certificates and registration documents.
Detained for one month on suspicion of involvement in the illegal registration of vehicles are chief specialist S. D. and specialists K. U. and U. A., born in 1997.
The investigation is currently ongoing, with necessary investigative and operational measures being conducted to clarify all circumstances of this crime and to hold those responsible accountable.
