On February 9, the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reported the detention of three employees of the State Center for Vehicle Registration in Bishkek, known as "Unaa."

As part of a criminal case initiated under Article 379 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Forgery of Documents"), the directors of private driving schools and an intermediary were arrested, suspected of fictitious training. According to the investigation, they registered citizens on the state portal and issued them fake documents. As a result of their actions, 244 students were enrolled through one intermediary, and 2,760,850 soms were unlawfully obtained.

The investigation established that a criminal group, consisting of the intermediary and his accomplices, organized the illegal registration of vehicles based on forged documents received from neighboring countries. Employees of Bishkek's "Unaa" assisted in the fictitious entry of data into databases and the registration of vehicles using counterfeit certificates and registration documents, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate.

Among those detained was the chief specialist S.D., as well as specialists K.U. and U.A., all born in 1997. The court decided to place them in custody for one month.

The investigation is ongoing.
