According to relatives, the farewell to the 25-year-old man took place on January 22, 2025, in his hometown of Telman, where his father resides. The deceased is survived by his mother and younger sister.
Tomorrow, January 23, the funeral of another victim—a schoolgirl—is scheduled. Her body was retrieved from the morgue today.
According to information from the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, on January 20 at 09:53, a report was received at the duty station of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Moscow district about a fire involving a silver "Volkswagen Golf 3" that burned on the eastern outskirts of the village of Spartak, near a lake.
An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, which established the presence of two deceased individuals in the vehicle: the driver was found in the front seat, while the passenger was in the rear right seat.
The victims have been identified. The driver was O.E., born in 2000, a resident of the village of Spartak, and the passenger was T.S., born in 2010, a 10th-grade student at the local secondary school.
As reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, after verification, it was found that O.E. purchased the vehicle on January 11, 2026, at a car market. Two days later, he approached electrician S.S. for repairs on the left headlight. The electrician pointed out the extremely unsatisfactory technical condition of the vehicle—exposed wires, safety violations, as well as the smell of gasoline and smoke in the cabin, warning the owner about the high risk of further operation.
