Previously, complaints had been received regarding electrical malfunctions in the vehicle.
In the Moscow district of the Chui region, the bodies of two deceased individuals were found in a Volkswagen Golf 3 that had burned down: a 16-year-old schoolgirl and a 26-year-old man. This was reported by the regional internal affairs department.
According to law enforcement data, on January 20 at 09:53, a signal about a burned car was received by the duty unit of the Moscow district police. The vehicle was discovered on the eastern outskirts of the village of Spartak, in a wasteland near a lake, on the side of the road.
It was established that the vehicle contained a driver and a passenger. The driver was O. E., born in 2000, a resident of the village of Spartak, and the passenger was T. S., born in 2010, a 10th-grade student at the local school.
Furthermore, it became known that O. E. had purchased this vehicle on January 11 of the current year and had already contacted electrician S. S. on January 13 with a complaint about a malfunction of the left headlight.
According to the electrician, the condition of the car was extremely unsatisfactory: the wires were exposed, and there was a smell of gasoline and smoke in the cabin. He strongly warned the owner about the high danger of operating this vehicle.
Currently, examinations have been appointed, and an investigation is underway.
