The head of the GKNB met with the victims of the actions of the detained owner of the pawnshop chain
During the meeting, Tashiev spoke about the current state of the investigation. He noted that S. M. A., who had previously had legal issues, had been engaged in illegal activities related to pawnshops and usury for a long time. According to him, the accused issued loans to citizens under extremely unfavorable conditions, after which he used the resulting debts to seize their property.
As a result of the meeting, Kamchybek Tashiev instructed GKNB employees to conduct an inspection of all pawnshops, paying attention to interest rates and lending conditions. He emphasized that he would take personal control of the investigation, and those responsible must clarify all circumstances, identify those involved, and take measures to fully compensate the victims.
