A 29-Year-Old Man Detained in Bishkek on Suspicion of Murder
According to preliminary information, a report about the incident was received on January 14, 2026, via the "102" service. The body was found in a field. An investigative team arrived at the scene and confirmed the presence of a dead man. The identity of the deceased has been established: he was A. R., born in 1976.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities using the "Safe City" video surveillance system, the suspect was detained in the Kochkor District during the establishment of checkpoints. He turned out to be B. u. K., born in 1996. He was taken to the Investigative Service and, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police.

According to preliminary data, a conflict between the suspect and the victim erupted during the consumption of alcohol and escalated into a fight. During this altercation, the detained individual reportedly struck the victim, resulting in his death, according to the police.
The investigation is ongoing. Forensic examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of the case are being established.
