Drunken Argument in Tash-Dobo Led to Death: One Suspect Already Detained

A man suspected of being involved in the death of a resident of the village of Tash-Dobo has been detained in the Alamudun district, as reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.

According to law enforcement agencies, on January 15 at 14:43, a report was received at the duty station that the body of a man born in 1973 had been found in one of the houses. An investigative team immediately arrived at the scene. It was established that the deceased had been in the company of three acquaintances and consuming alcoholic beverages the day before, on January 14.

During the gathering, a conflict arose among the participants, as a result of which two of them — the homeowner and a woman born in 1971 — sustained bodily injuries. The woman was hospitalized, while the man unfortunately passed away. His body was sent to the morgue.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding this incident under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. The police detained 31-year-old T.U., who has been placed in a temporary detention facility based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The second participant in the conflict is currently being sought.

Judicial and legal examinations have now been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
