An employee of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil District in the Chui Region was detained on charges of extortion. The press center of the State National Security Committee confirmed this information.
During the pre-trial investigation and operational activities, on January 13, an investigator from the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department, police captain J.A.Z., was arrested. He demanded 150,000 soms to terminate the criminal case.
Currently, the suspect is in the temporary detention facility of the State National Security Committee, and investigative actions are ongoing.
