Investigator of the Jaily District Internal Affairs Department Detained for Extortion of a Bribe

During operational activities on January 13, 2026, an investigator from the investigative service of the Jayil district police, named "J.A.Z.", was arrested for demanding 150,000 soms for the termination of a criminal case. These actions were recorded as part of a pre-trial investigation registered in the AIS ERP and fall under Article 343 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic according to the law.

The detainee was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic continues to conduct additional investigative actions to identify other possible accomplices.
