
In 2015, the Bishkek city hall received 22 million euros from a credit organization for the modernization of its material and technical base, as well as for the acquisition of special equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, and garbage trucks. These funds were allocated for the design and construction of the landfill, with the recipients being the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" and the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill".
According to an audit of certain aspects of government procurement, the preliminary damage caused to the budget as a result of the improper use of loan funds is estimated at approximately 182 million soms.

On January 12 of this year, in connection with the corruption case, the former vice-mayor of Bishkek S. R. A., the former director of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill" A. A. Zh., as well as the leaders of contracting organizations I. V. R. and A. N. B. were detained. All of them have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the State National Security Committee.
Currently, the State National Security Committee continues to conduct additional measures to identify all officials involved in the case and determine the final amount of damage.
