Deputy Minister Asel Raimkulova presented information highlighting the measures being taken to improve air quality, manage waste, modernize technical infrastructure, protect the ecology of Issyk-Kul, and license geological exploration and mining companies.
During the discussion, Deputy Nilufar Alimjanova raised an important issue regarding the monitoring of drinking water quality in areas where mining industry waste is located, and also emphasized the need to increase transparency in the licensing of these enterprises.
Additionally, Deputy Aibek Altynbekov reported on illegal construction in the Dashman State Nature Reserve in the Bazar-Korgon District of the Jalal-Abad Region and proposed to expedite the process of granting this region the status of a nature park.
