The Ministry of Natural Resources collected 973 million soms in payments for environmental pollution in 2025
She reported that the planned amount of payments for environmental pollution was 487 million 190 thousand soms. However, in fact, during the year, 973 million 350 thousand soms were collected, which exceeds the established plan by 199.8%.
Raimkulova also noted that previously these funds were directed to the republican budget, but starting from June 2025, payments began to be deposited into a special account of the Ministry of Natural Resources. This decision significantly improved the material and technical base of the agency.
As a result of using these funds, the construction of administrative buildings began in Bishkek, Cholpon-Ata, and Talas, as well as a rehabilitation center in the Issyk-Kul State Reserve.
In addition, 38 service vehicles and 4 motorboats were purchased to ensure the operation of the ministry's territorial divisions and reserves.
To enhance the level of environmental monitoring, modern drones, camera traps, video recorders, professional binoculars, GPS devices, gas analyzers, and equipment for measuring smoke emissions were acquired.
The Deputy Minister confirmed that work to strengthen the material and technical base of the ministry will continue.
