- two 500 kV substations,
- three 220 kV substations,
- twenty 110 kV substations,
- ninety-nine 35 kV substations,
- five thousand nine hundred thirty-nine 10/04 kV transformers,
- eighty-nine kilometers of 500 kV overhead lines,
- nine hundred twenty-seven kilometers of 220 kV overhead lines,
- one hundred sixty-five kilometers of SIP cables.
The total amount for capital repairs was 39.7 million soms, current repairs cost 163 million soms, and the reconstruction of network infrastructure amounted to 455 million soms. During the work, new transformers were installed, old transformers were replaced with more powerful ones, cabinets and internal networks were repaired, and outdated wires were replaced with modern self-supporting insulated (SIP) cables.
Duyshykee emphasized that the transition to SIP cables significantly reduced the frequency of emergency shutdowns and increased the reliability of the lines, as this cable is resistant to temperature fluctuations and wind loads.
In 2025, 25 new transformer substations were installed in the Chui region, and three new substations 35 kV were built in the Suusamyr Valley and the village of Baytik.
For 2026, the replacement of approximately 150 kilometers of old wires with modern SIP cables is planned.
Reference:
SIP cable is a self-supporting insulated wire that does not require additional supports, has protection against short circuits, and is resistant to wind, snow, and temperature fluctuations, which leads to a reduction in accidents and energy losses.
