Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, announced the results of two reforms carried out under the "Government Accelerators" program at a staff meeting.
For a long time, entrepreneurs and companies engaged in logistics faced a serious problem - the lack of effective data exchange between Kyrgyzstan and EAEU partner countries. The absence of integration of information systems for transport control and permitting documents forced Kyrgyz carriers to provide paper documents at the borders, causing significant delays.
As a result of the work carried out in 100 days, the procedure for transport control has been simplified. Now, data on their results and permitting documents are transmitted in electronic format, which has allowed for the automation of processes and improved interaction between agencies. Information systems of government bodies have also been modernized, and electronic issuance of permits for cabotage transportation has been implemented. These changes have significantly reduced border crossing times and decreased administrative barriers," the Cabinet noted.
