Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov noted that this protocol was developed as a result of the work of a consolidated working group focused on improving the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. It contains 33 amendments.
The purpose of the amendments is to eliminate gaps identified during law enforcement practice, as well as to clarify the definitions used in the Treaty on the Union.
