- In the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, including the city of Bishkek, fairs for local producers, farmers, and craftsmen are planned to take place on certain days until June 2026. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry announced this initiative.

The Ministry noted that there is currently no shortage of basic food products in the country, and food supplies are sufficient. The fairs are organized to ensure stable supply to the domestic market and to provide citizens with quality goods at affordable prices.

Every weekend in Bishkek, fairs are held in collaboration with the city administration, where local residents can purchase food products at prices lower than market rates.

The main goals of these fairs are to curb price increases, ensure accessibility of food for socially vulnerable groups, support domestic producers, and stabilize the internal market.

In Bishkek, the fairs are held at the following locations:

    •    T. Usubaliev Square;

    •    the area at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets;

    •    Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
