
Fairs featuring local producers, farmers, and artisans will be organized across Kyrgyzstan, including the capital Bishkek. These events are scheduled to continue until June 2026 and will take place on specific days, offering residents quality food products at prices below market rates.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry, the republic is not experiencing a shortage of essential food products, and food supplies are at a satisfactory level. The main goal of the fairs is to ensure the domestic market and provide affordable food for the population.
The fairs in Bishkek are planned for every Saturday and Sunday, supported by the city administration and organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture.
At the fairs, residents will be able to purchase food products at prices lower than market rates. This is aimed at curbing price increases, supporting socially vulnerable citizens, and assisting local producers to maintain stability in the domestic market.
The fairs in Bishkek will take place at the following locations:
- T. Usubaliev Square;
- at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets;
- Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
- products must comply with sanitary and hygienic standards;
- prices must be below market rates;
- a confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.
