In the Kyrgyz Republic, there is a high demand for workers in skilled trades.



According to the ministry's information, the largest deficit is observed specifically among skilled workers. Currently, the unemployment rate in Kyrgyzstan is 1.3%. Employment services record 56,500 unemployed individuals, of which 38,100 are officially registered.

Employment services have helped 17,454 people find jobs as of 2025.

Among the in-demand professions, the following can be highlighted:

preschool and school educators – 350;

medical workers (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and orderlies) – 320;

cashiers – 151;

sales agents – 63;

government and municipal employees – 36;

managers – 95;

accountants – 150;

lawyers – 24;

economists – 40;

administrators – 96;

interns – 185;

workers in skilled trades – 4,251;

computer specialists – 253;

cooks – 420;

trade agents – 400;

seamstresses – 1,850;

welders – 150;

workers in the construction sector (drivers, mechanics, welders, carpenters, turners, locksmiths, concrete pourers, etc.) – 373;

drivers – 1,000;

service sector employees (hairdressers, manicure masters, waiters, cosmetologists, couriers, cooks, pastry chefs, bakers, etc.) – 178.

As for the average salary, according to the National Statistical Committee, it is as follows: in the financial sector - 67,121 soms; in industry - 66,990 soms; in transportation - 58,657 soms; in construction - 57,472 soms; in trade - 47,125 soms; in agriculture - 33,462 soms; in the service sector - 29,679 soms; in healthcare and social services - 28,082 soms; in education - 27,054 soms; in culture - 24,861 soms.
