The Ministry of Agriculture recommends notarizing the internal regulations of agricultural cooperatives.
Idirisov noted that small-scale production makes it difficult for farmers to work effectively alone, and therefore unification becomes inevitable. However, one of the key problems remains the lack of trust among cooperative members. To address this issue, Kyrgyzstan has begun to implement the practice of notarizing the internal regulations of cooperatives.
According to him, such notarized documents allow for the prior determination of participation shares and income distribution based on the contributions of each member, whether they are land plots, equipment, or other resources. For example, a member with 5 hectares of land receives a smaller share of the profit compared to someone who contributed 50 hectares. These conditions are fixed in a notarized agreement.
Last year, some cooperatives experienced internal conflicts due to the lack of clear rules for income distribution. In this regard, the ministry strongly recommends that cooperatives agree on such internal regulations in advance and have them notarized to give them legal force.
Idirisov also added that cooperatives that have already started using this practice face fewer disputes among members and demonstrate greater stability in their operations.
