- The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry informs about the possible water shortage during the growing season of 2026.

According to the ministry's explanations, in some regions, restrictions on irrigation water volumes are expected, which will lead to a resource shortage.

In this regard, the ministry recommends that farmers and peasants pay attention to the following measures:

•   implement water-saving technologies, such as drip and sprinkler irrigation;


•   consider switching to crops that require less water;


•   use drought-resistant seeds when planting.

For questions related to water supply, it is recommended to contact local agricultural development offices or specialists from the ministry.

“During the irrigation season, the ministry will engage in fair and balanced distribution of water resources,” the agency noted.

“We urge farmers and peasants to understand the situation and actively participate in the implementation of water-saving methods,” they added.
