In the northern zone of the region, the wind will shift from southwest to northwest, while in other areas, its speed will increase to 12-14 meters per second, especially in the Altai Mountains and the Arts-Bogd Gorge, where it will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second.
The temperature in Lake Uvs and the Darhad Valley is -23 °C. In the valleys of the Zavkhan, Tes, and Khalkh rivers, temperature readings have been recorded at -28 °C, while in the valleys of the Ider, Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa, Yeruu, and Kherlen rivers, the temperature fluctuates between -16 and -21 °C.
