Today, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected in the capital. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 3-8 meters per second, while in the steppe and Gobi regions, its speed may reach 12-14 meters per second.
Air temperatures in some regions of the country have been recorded at levels between -32 and -37 degrees Celsius, especially in Lake Uvs and the Darhad Basin, as well as in the valleys of the Ider, Tes, Selenga, and Eroo rivers. In other valleys, such as Eg, Uur, Orkhon, Kharaa, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh, temperatures range between -27 and -32 degrees Celsius. In the southwestern Gobi regions, temperatures are slightly higher — from -16 to -21 degrees Celsius, while in other areas, they fluctuate between -22 and -27 degrees Celsius.
In Ulaanbaatar, variable cloudiness without snow is also observed. The wind is northwestern, with a speed of 2-7 meters per second. Daytime temperatures range from -25 to -27 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures can drop to -32 to -35 degrees Celsius.
