Today, March 26, in Bishkek, at the Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul Sports Palace, the opening of the international Grand Prix tournament in the traditional wrestling style of alysh took place.
The tournament is dedicated to the memory of Bayaman Erkinbaev, who is the founder of the International Federation of Alysh and a significant figure in public life.
Present at the ceremony were Ulukbek Omurbekov, the director of the Directorate for National Sports, as well as guests from abroad and relatives of Bayaman Erkinbaev.
About 150 participants from countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, India, and the Netherlands are taking part in this competition.
