Razzak Beishekeev won bronze at the ranking tournament in Albania

In Tirana, the capital of Albania, the international ranking tournament in wrestling named Muhamet Malo–2026 has concluded. At this event, Kyrgyz wrestler Razzak Beishekeev won the bronze medal in the 72 kg weight category, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the very beginning of the tournament, Beishekeev had a tense match against Russian athlete Magomed Barakhoev, where he won with a minimal advantage of 7:6. The next bout was also against a representative from Russia — Kamil Akhmetvaleev, and Beishekeev confidently won it with a score of 7:1.

Reaching the quarter-finals, the athlete from Kyrgyzstan faced Kazakhstani Nikolai Khapko and won with a score of 10:3, which allowed him to advance to the semi-finals. However, at this stage of the tournament, he was unable to secure a victory: he lost to Iranian wrestler Mohammad Javad Rezaei with a score of 1:5.

In the match for third place, Beishekeev demonstrated confident technique and finished the bout early, winning against Kazakhstani Almatbek Amanbek with a score of 3:0, thus earning the bronze medal at this prestigious tournament.
