Meirim Jumaanazarova won a silver medal at a ranking wrestling tournament held in Albania, according to a report by UWW.

In the decisive match, which took place on February 27, the Kyrgyz athlete faced Yuliana Yaneva, the silver medalist from the World Championship in Bulgaria. The final score of the match was 2:0 in favor of the Bulgarian athlete.

Jumaanazarova competes in the weight category up to 68 kg and began her journey from the 1/8 finals.

In the 1/8 finals, she secured a confident victory over Destiny Rene from the USA, and then in the 1/4 finals, she defeated Solin Nicole Pirsi, also from the USA, with a score of 10:0.

In the semifinals, Meirim battled with Nersin Bash from Turkey, winning with a score of 8:4, which allowed her to advance to the finals.
