At a recent ranking wrestling tournament in Albania, Kyrgyzstani Gulnura Tashtanbekova managed to win a bronze medal, as reported by United World Wrestling (UWW).
In the weight category up to 65 kilograms, Gulnura was unable to advance to the semifinals, losing in the quarterfinals to Russian athlete Alina Kasabieva. However, after Kasabieva reached the finals, Gulnura had the opportunity to compete for bronze.
In the decisive match for third place, Gulnura triumphed over her opponent from India with a score of 4:3.
It is also worth noting that on the third day of the competition, Meirim Jumanaazarova won a silver medal.
