The national team of Kyrgyzstan in athletics participated on February 21, 2026, in the 18th Asian Cross Country Championship held in the Japanese city of Fukuoka. According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, our athletes secured second place in the competition.
The team included Nursultan Keneshbekov, Jusup Sulayman uulu, and Tilekjan Zhekshenaly uulu. They successfully completed the 10-kilometer distance, which allowed them to win silver medals.
The first position was taken by the national team of Japan, while the bronze medals went to the team of the People's Republic of China.
