Nursultan Keneshbekov became the winner of the 'Christmas Starts' tournament in Russia
At the international athletics tournament "Christmas Starts. Memorial of E. S. Yalamov," which took place in Russia, Kyrgyz athlete Nursultan Keneshbekov became the champion.

During the competition held in Yekaterinburg, Nursultan covered the distance of 3000 meters, finishing the race with an impressive time of 7 minutes 57.66 seconds.

The tournament featured 190 athletes from 35 regions of Russia, as well as representatives from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Additionally, in October 2025, Nursultan Keneshbekov set a new national record in the half marathon distance.

He participated in the Kazan National Half Marathon, where he finished third in the 21.1-kilometer distance with a time of 1 hour 1 minute 39 seconds, which became a new record for Kyrgyzstan.
