The "Toktogul" club, which will participate in the Premier League of the Kyrgyzstan Championship for the first time this year, has announced the signing of Mirbek Akhmataliyev, a former midfielder of the national team. He has previously played for teams such as "Alga," "Dordoi," "Abdysh-Ata," "Muras United," "Alai," "Kaganat," as well as clubs in Georgia and Malaysia.

In August 2024, 32-year-old Akhmataliyev was subjected to a five-year ban for his involvement in a conflict during a training session with the "Muras United" team. However, on February 10 of this year, the Executive Committee of the Kyrgyz Football Union decided to lift his ban.

As part of the preparation for the new season, the team has already signed several new players, including Georgian national team defender Solomon Kverkvelia.
