The football club of Kyrgyzstan signed a contract with one of the best players from Georgia

The football club "Toktogul" from Kyrgyzstan has signed a contract with Solomon Kverkvelia, who is considered one of the most outstanding players from Georgia in recent years. This information was published on the official social media channels of the team.
According to the club's reports, the agreement with the 33-year-old defender is for two years. Kverkvelia has already arrived in Bishkek, preparing for the upcoming matches.
Solomon Kverkvelia will become the most decorated football player in the history of Kyrgyzstan. He has a championship title with Moscow's "Lokomotiv," two Cups, and one Super Cup of Russia, as well as a victory in the Russian Cup with Kazan's "Rubin." He was twice recognized as the best player in Georgia in 2014 and 2017 and represented his country at EURO-2024.
Additionally, at the peak of his career, Kverkvelia was the most expensive player in the history of Kyrgyz football, with his value estimated at 10 million euros in 2019. Currently, it stands at 250,000 euros.
The "Toktogul" club will compete in the top division of the Kyrgyzstan championship for the first time. The head coach of the team has been appointed as Ukrainian specialist Sergey Puchkov, who previously worked with "Muras United."
