Erlan Sherov rose to 27th place in the world ranking

Recently, Kyrgyz judoka Erlan Sherov improved his standings in the international ranking, according to data from the International Judo Federation (IJF).

At the European Open Cup, which took place in Slovenia on February 14-15, he won a gold medal in the under 90 kg weight category, taking first place.

This victory earned Sherov 100 ranking points, allowing him to rise from 34th to 27th place in his weight category.
