At the Open Masters Games 2026, held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Kyrgyz athlete Asel Sharbekova won a silver and a bronze medal in archery. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.

The athlete, competing under the guidance of coach Kylchbek Nurmanbetov, took second place in the over 30 category and third place in the 40+ category.

The Open Masters Games is an international multi-sport event taking place in Abu Dhabi in 2026. The main goal of this event is to promote the idea of "sport for all" and unite different generations. It aims to promote an active lifestyle, celebrate achievements in sports, and foster cultural exchange.
