Dastanbek Nurmanbetov won bronze at the Open Masters Games

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Dastanbek Nurmanbetov, won a bronze medal at the Open Masters Games-2026, taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the State Agency for Sports, Nurmanbetov competed in the category for athletes over 30 years old.

In the first round, he won against a representative from Jordan, but in the second round, he was unable to defeat an athlete from Uzbekistan.

However, in the third round, he managed to win against an opponent from Kazakhstan, which earned him the bronze medal.

It is also worth noting that Islam Bayalinov won a gold medal in the weight category up to 73 kg, taking first place.

In archery, Asel Sharbekova brought home both a silver and a bronze medal.
