According to reports, on February 14, 2026, an open championship of the Jaiyl district in toguz korgool among schoolchildren took place in the city of Kara-Balta, dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
Four teams from the Jaiyl district participated in the competition. The third team place was taken by students from secondary school No. 9 under the guidance of coach Shurububu Omorov.
The second team place was taken by students from Ak-Bashat secondary school under the guidance of coach Syrgabek Akhmatov.
The first honorable place was taken by students from Kyzyl-Dyikan secondary school named after A. Zakirov under the guidance of coach Temirbek Dolotbakov.
The winners of the district competition in toguz korgool were: Ryspekov Farhad, Ryspekov Amal, Kubanychbekova Aibiyke, Kubanychbekova Nurbiyke, Kubanychbekova Aisha, Almazbekova Ademi, Baktybekova Aruuke, and Saparbaeva Rayana.
The winners and prizewinners were awarded commemorative medals and diplomas from the Jaiyl district children's and youth sports school.
