From January 26 to 31, the city stage of the school league in toguz korgool took place in Bishkek, featuring the best athletes who won in district competitions. According to the city administration, 16 students participated in this stage, who took prize-winning places in four districts of the capital.
The school league covers 13 sports, including disciplines such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, darts, athletics (both children's and classic), mini-football, table tennis, pioneerball, toguz korgool, ordo, and chess.
As a result of the competitions in toguz korgool among boys, the first place was taken by school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, the second place went to the "Seitek" school from the Pervomaisky district, the third place was secured by boarding school No. 1 also from the Pervomaisky district, and the fourth place was taken by school No. 69 from the Pervomaisky district.
Among girls, the leader was school No. 112 from the Oktyabrsky district, the second place was taken by school No. 96 from the Leninsky district, the third place was secured by school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, and the fourth place went to school No. 66 from the Sverdlovsk district.
Following the competitions, the city administration announced the awarding of winners and prize-winners with cups, medals, diplomas, and an offer to go on summer vacation to Lake Issyk-Kul. The organizer of these competitions was the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Bishkek city administration.
