The event took place on February 11 in the capital of the country, Bishkek, at the Izabekov Wrestling Academy.
In 2025, Aoyagi won a gold medal at the World Championship in the weight category up to 70 kg, which was held in Zagreb (Croatia). In the round of 16 of this tournament, he defeated Kyrgyz wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev.
Aoyagi will also participate in an international tournament that will take place in Bishkek on February 13.
