World Champion in Freestyle Wrestling from Japan Held a Master Class in Kyrgyzstan

On February 11, a master class was held in Bishkek, organized by the wrestling federation, under the guidance of the current world champion Yesinosuke Aoyagi from Japan.

At the moment, 23-year-old Aoyagi is the holder of a bronze medal from the 2023 Asian Championship, which took place in Astana. This year, he also finished second at the tournament in Bishkek and then won a silver medal at the World Championship in Albania.

In 2025, the athlete achieved remarkable success by winning a gold medal in the weight category up to 70 kilograms at the World Championship held in Zagreb, Croatia. During this tournament, he defeated Kyrgyzstani wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev in the round of 16.

Aoyagi also plans to participate in an international tournament that will take place in Bishkek on February 13.
