Yoshinosuke, who is 23 years old, won a bronze medal at the Asian Championship held in Astana this year. In 2024, he became a silver medalist at the tournament in Bishkek, and then earned a similar award at the World Championship in Albania.
In 2025, Aoyagi won in the weight category up to 70 kg at the World Championship held in Zagreb (Croatia).
During that tournament, he defeated Kyrgyz wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev in the round of 16.
Additionally, on February 13, Aoyagi will participate in an international tournament that will also take place in Bishkek.
