In 2026, 2.4 billion soms are allocated for sports, - State Agency

On January 19, at a meeting of the relevant committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to science, education, and sports, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, announced the allocation of 2 billion 428 million soms for funding in 2026.

Of this amount, 48% or 1 billion 167 million soms will be directed towards the further development of the sports sector.

Moldazhiyev also noted that the agency's plans for 2026 include the optimization of existing institutions, improving the training of youth national teams, as well as the creation of a specialized center based on sports schools.
