World Championship (U-20): The Kyrgyzstan National Team Defeated Hong Kong

The Kyrgyzstan national ice hockey team for players under 20 years old has successfully started its performance at the third division world championship, which is taking place in Bishkek since January 18.

In the first match of the tournament, which features six teams, the Kyrgyz team faced off against the Hong Kong team on the ice of "Bishkek Arena".
The first and second periods ended with the same score — 0:0 and 1:1, with the only goal in the first match scored by Umar Egemberdiev for Kyrgyzstan.

In the third period, at the 20th minute, Alihan Ali-Askarov sent the second goal into the opponent's net, and then Egemberdiev scored two more times.

As a result, the match ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the Kyrgyz team, earning them 3 points in the tournament standings.

In the next match, which will take place on January 19, the Kyrgyz team will play against the South African team, which lost to Mexico in its first match.
