The names of the captain and his assistants of the youth national hockey team of Kyrgyzstan (U-20), who will represent the country at the upcoming world tournament, have been announced.

The championship, in which teams from Division ZV will participate, will take place from January 18 to 24 at the "Bishkek Arena".

The team consists of 20 players.

The captain of the team is forward Sher Shamsybekov from the Bishkek club "Uchur". His assistants are Umar Esenov and Alikhan Ali-Askarov.

The national teams of Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong will compete for the sole spot in Division ZA.
