Asian Cup (U-23): What did the coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team say before the match against Saudi Arabia?
Representing the Kyrgyzstan national team were head coach Edmar Lacerda and team captain Said Datsiev.
“Our arrival at this tournament was driven by the desire to showcase quality and spectacular football. We understand that we are in a tough group with strong opponents, but we are ready for this challenge. Our team is well-prepared and focused on demonstrating our best abilities on the field,” noted Lacerda.
“We have analyzed our opponents and understand that Vietnam is a strong team with good technique. They display a high level of play and have a competent coach. The group is indeed strong, and we will face a tough battle,” he added. “The most important thing for us is to start successfully in the first game,” concluded the coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team.
The Kyrgyz team will play their first match against the Saudi Arabia team, which is scheduled for January 6 at 22:00 Bishkek time.
In Group A, the teams of Vietnam and Jordan will also compete.
