Today in Jeddah, there will be a match between the national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia as part of the final stage of the U-23 Asian Cup 2026. The captain of the Kyrgyz team, Said Datsiev, shared his thoughts with journalists.

According to Datsiev, the team arrived in Saudi Arabia with the aim of showcasing spectacular and quality football, while they are focused on a successful outcome of the match.

The head coach, Edmar Lacerda, also emphasized earlier that the team is aimed at demonstrating high-class football in the tournament, despite being in a tough group with strong opponents.

“We understand that we are in a challenging group, but we are ready to meet the challenge. Our team is well-prepared and ready to show our best football,” he noted.

January 6 at 22:00 — Kyrgyzstan vs. Saudi Arabia

The match against Saudi Arabia will be the opening event of the tournament for the Kyrgyz footballers.
