Representatives of the local administration, heads of various institutions and enterprises, participants of the April events, as well as close relatives of those who gave their lives in the struggle attended the event.
Wreaths were laid at the monument erected in honor of the fallen heroes, and a memorial prayer was read.
It should be noted that among the 87 victims of the tragic events on Ala-Too Square on April 7, 2010, five—Kanatbek Chyngyshov, Nurlan Beysheev, Kudas Abdildaev, Marat Kaziev, and Erlan Omuraliev—were from the At-Bashinsky district. A total of 26 people from this district participated in the uprising.
