Today, April 7, the country celebrates the Day of the People's Revolution, which will forever be remembered for the selflessness of citizens who gave their lives for freedom.
The memorial dedicated to the heroes of April 7 is located in Pushkin Park. However, due to ongoing reconstruction work in the park, the traditional flower-laying ceremony took place in a modified format.
At the meeting, the vice-mayor of Karakol, Ermekan Duyshobaev, met with participants of the April events and the families of the deceased.
During the event, it was announced that Amanat Biyshekov has been appointed as the new chairman of the special organization dedicated to the heroes of April 7. He noted that work is currently underway to clarify the composition of the members of this organization.
The vice-mayor emphasized the courage of those who sacrificed themselves for the future of their country and expressed sincere gratitude to them. Issues of social support for the families of the deceased and current problems of the city were also discussed.
