Prominent officials participated in this significant event, including the authorized representative of the president in the Talas region, Ermat Dzhumaev, and the mayor of the city, Nurgazy Cholponkulov, as well as witnesses of the events of April 7, 2010, and relatives of the deceased.
During the rally, attendees laid wreaths at the monument to the heroes of the revolution, honored the memory of the victims with a moment of silence, and then a prayer was recited, followed by a three-gun salute in honor of the fallen.
After the rally, the event moved to the Talas Regional Drama Theater, where the audience was presented with a theatrical performance reflecting the tragic events of those days. An exhibition titled "April 7 Through the Eyes of Schoolchildren" was also organized, showcasing the works of young artists that reflect their perception of this historical moment.
This year marks the 16th anniversary of the events that took place on April 7, 2010.
