According to information from the ministry, the project includes the creation of a four-lane road. Construction work is being carried out simultaneously with the design phase, and funding is coming from state capital investments.
Currently, earthworks are being conducted at the site, excess soil is being removed, and the dismantling and preparation of reinforced concrete structures is underway. The installation of an asphalt concrete plant near the road is also planned.
To ensure the timely completion of the construction, a contract has been signed with the contractor China Road and Bridge Corporation.
The ministry noted that the implementation of this project will significantly reduce the transportation load in Cholpon-Ata, ensure high standards for international events, and improve the road infrastructure of the region.
