The decision to build was made in anticipation of the World Nomad Games (WNG) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. The new four-lane road, 15.64 km long, will be constructed using parallel design.
Currently, work is underway on demolition, design, and earthworks. The installation of an asphalt concrete plant is also planned. A contract has been signed with the contractor, China Road and Bridge Corporation, to complete the project within the established timeframe. The goal of this project is to reduce the transportation load on the city, ensure high-quality hosting of international events, and improve road infrastructure.
